One-Stop Bridal Destination Prepares To Open Its Pretty Pink Doors
Converted church transformed into three floors of bridal shopping heaven
A breathtaking church building has been transformed into a one-stop destination for all things bridal, providing the ultimate day out for brides and their tribes.
Showcasing the best of bridal across three glorious floors, The Aisle Edit will open its doors in the picturesque village of Scouthead near Saddleworth, Greater Manchester, in February 2023.
Founded by renowned bridal shoe designer Charlotte Mills, the new and exciting concept invites brides to shop for their entire bridal party with bridalwear, bridesmaid and mother-of-the-bride attire and accessories all under one heavenly roof.
Charlotte said: “The Aisle Edit houses a curated collection of incredible, female-run independent bridal brands to provide a wedding shopping destination unlike anything else in the UK.
“And what better space to create it in than a converted church? We’ve breathed fresh life into this beautifully historic building while maintaining and enhancing its original features to create something truly wow-worthy.”
Heartachingly spellbinding inside and out, the converted church has been transformed into 6000 square feet of bridal shopping bliss, complete with a boutique-style cafe bar and warm, personal service.
Its pared-back yet luxurious decor centres around reclaimed wooden floors, pure white walls and plush, contemporary furnishings, with the main detail left to the building’s one-of-a-kind features, including its magical stained glass windows projecting colourful rays throughout.
Evoking excitement from the off, visitors will enter through the grand pink church doors, where they’ll be greeted at The Aisle Edit’s reception area and given an overview of what each inspiring floor holds.
A large and alluring Accessory Showroom spans the ground floor with independent brand displays of fabulous finishing touches for brides to shop. This includes on-trend wedding hair accessories and jewellery by The Bobby Pin, plus gorgeous nightwear by Meeka, denim jackets and veils from For The Love Of Pearls.
The middle floor, meanwhile, will play host to a mezzanine Champagne Bar, serving up afternoon tea, coffee, wine and bubbles with a selfie station and Team Hen accessory area, all part of its irresistible offering.
Here, brides can also immerse themselves in the Bridesmaid and Mother-Of-The-Bride Boutiques, shopping in private with their leading ladies while sipping fizz and being assisted by a dedicated Aisle Edit stylist.
And as if that wasn’t enough, the middle floor houses a soul-stirring Charlotte Mills Showroom too. Sitting in the place of the former church altar, this mesmerising studio features a full range of aisle-worthy CM bridal footwear, with knowledgeable team members walking brides through the insanely beautiful options.
Finally, providing an ethereal setting for brides to find their dream dress, the top floor of The Aisle Edit will be home to award-winning bridal boutique Dotty Bridal. Expanding on its popular Yorkshire locations, Dotty will bring a host of premium designer gowns to this exquisite space for private bridal appointments led by its super-friendly expert stylists.
Charlotte added: “By covering all bridal party bases, we’ve solved the problem of brides needing to get their girls together for multiple shopping trips by creating one luxurious bridal destination where they can do it all while making an epic girly day of it.
“We’ve no doubt The Aisle Edit will add a unique and special experience to brides’ wedding planning journeys, and its fabulous location means it’s easily accessible for those travelling from Leeds, Manchester, Sheffield and beyond!
“We can’t wait to share this incredible space with brides and their besties when we open our pretty pink doors in the new year.”
The Aisle Edit will welcome brides from Saturday, 11th February 2023. Those interested in finding out more can sign up to a waitlist by visiting www.aisleedit.com to be amongst the first to be notified of the website launch and opening of appointments.
