Returns, Exchanges & Delivery
We have a variety of delivery options from next day to standard delivery. Read our Delivery & Returns page for more information.
We are happy to offer a full refund within 14 days of delivery, providing items are returned in their original condition with no marks or blemishes, in their original packaging (which should also be in pristine condition).
We can deliver all over the World except for a small selection of countries. Contact us for more info.

As long as the item is not discontinued, we’re able to facilitate an exchange. We will notify you if the item you wish to exchange for is a pre-order line when we are processing your return. And at this point we will give you an estimated date of delivery. As soon as we have the stock available we will fulfill your exchange at which point you’ll receive tracking information.
Unfortunately not. However in some exceptional circumstances, this is something we may consider. Please email info@charlottemillsbridal.com to discuss this further.
Please get in touch with us directlyinfo@charlottemillsbridal.comwith your order number, and details / photos of the damaged parcel, and we will speak with the postage company directly to resolve any issues.
Pre Orders
If an item is on pre-order this just means that it isn’t currently in stock and ready to ship but we have more stock on the way from our factory. There should be an estimated delivery date underneath your chosen product - if for some reason we experience a delay, you will be emailed with an updated delivery date.

However please be aware that a lot of our estimated arrival dates depend on international couriers and the information we get from them isn’t always 100% reliable.
Caring For Your Shoes
All our shoes come with a plastic film on the sole. We’d recommend keeping this intact whilst wearing in your shoes or wearing them for fittings before the big day. However this must be removed before wear outside. If you fail to remove this the sole will wear down unevenly.
Note once this is removed the shoes are non returnable if unsuitable this does not affect your statutory rights.
As we have used the softest leather soles to give our brides the luxury they deserve. Unfortunately due to the nature of the product, the soles will wear down over time.
Leather - Can be cleaned using a soft white damp cloth and left to dry naturally. Please ensure your shoes are fully dry before returning them to their shoe box.
Glitter - You can clean glitter with mild soapy water and a very soft toothbrush. For example a baby toothbrush. Be sure to be gentle so as not to dislodge any of the glitter, and ensure that you don't get the shoes too wet.
Velvet - This can be cleaned using a soft white damp cloth and left to dry naturally
All Charlotte Mills shoes are hand made and very delicate, they are not designed to be worn daily. Trims may be lost if they are caught or snagged. Replacements are available please email info@charlottemillsbridal.com for more info.
Store your shoes in the box with the tissue paper and dust bag they come with.
Keep them in a dry, damp free place to ensure they stay a beautiful.
Yes, just keep away from direct sunlight and damp. Store the shoes in their original packaging, for example with the shoes stuffed with tissue paper. This will ensure they keep their shape!
Product Related Queries
We sometimes receive messages from concerned brides that the soles of their shoes are falling off, but don’t worry- this is definitely not the case! All our shoes come with a plastic film on the bottom, to protect the soft leather soles. We recommend keeping this in place until a few days before the wedding, so the soles don’t get damaged whilst you’re wearing your shoes in or for your fittings. However please note, once this is removed shoes are non-returnable.
Very occasionally in our closed toe shoes a small squeak when you walk can be caused by your toe nail squeaking against the top of the shoe. As the shoes are leather lined, the lining will soften when you wear them, and any squeaking noises should stop. In the meantime you can apply a tiny amount of Vaseline to the offending toe nail, which can help!
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a shoe repair service, so we recommend going to your local cobbler should your shoes be in need of repair.
Our signature pearl glitter that we use on a lot of our styles, is quite coarse so if your dress is made from a delicate fabric, we would not recommend choosing a style that utilises this material as it’s likely to catch.

Our sizing does vary from style to style and you may need to size up or down from your regular size.
On each product page, we have a bespoke size chart for that particular shoe, where you’ll find measurements which you can check against your own feet.
To get your measurement stand on a tape measure or ruler, and measure from the tip of your big toe to the end of your heel. Then compare this measurement to our size guides (which can be found on each product page)
We measure the heel height from the outside of the heel.
We place shoes on a flat surface, measuring from the back of the heel (the point where it connects to the shoe - called the seam) to the bottom of the heel resting on the flat surface.
Unfortunately not.
If you would usually choose a wide fit shoe on the high street, or size up to accommodate the width of your feet. We would advise choosing one of our wide fit styles. Our wide fit options are based on a UK EE fit.

General Queries
We release one collection once a year, usually around November time. We often release a couple of new styles throughout the year, and either add them to the main range or offer them as limited edition styles!
Unfortunately this isn’t something that we can offer. Every pair of CM shoes features our signature embossed leather sole.
