Joanna and Andrew love picnics and cream tea, so it's an element they really wanted to incorporate into their big day. They went for a really relaxed feel on their day and instead of having a sit down meal they had a hog roast and a cake table full of scones, carrot cake and a few other delicious desserts for the guests to tuck into.
Joanne said 'The reception venue was only a stones throw away from the church so guested enjoyed a small walk after the vows while Andre and I took the children for a ride in the camper van. Andrew and the other men wore red, white and blue to reflect the Union Jack and I chose a tea length dress to showcase my shoes! Which in my opinion were the show stopper! We had a wonderful day and a great start to a very happy marriage. My advice to other brides, if you can get involved in making any part of your day personal, I'd say go for it, I had a hand in most of the details of our wedding and it made it all the more enjoyable!'
We absolutely love Joanne's photos, so thank you so much for sharing them with us. If you're a Charlotte Mills bride then we'd really love to see photos of you in your shoes, so please email us or tag us on instagram!
