Our CM Bride Greta

Our CM Bride Greta

There's nothing we love more than seeing how our Brides style all our CM shoes - hence the pestering we do for images from you all! We have a stockroom full of shoes we send out on a daily basis and getting images back and seeing where they've been is fab and exciting for us...and gives all our future CM Brides the perfect inspo! That's why when we where tagged in images from the lovely Greta we just had to ask her for more details! Have a read and see how she styled our Blondie shoes..

Oh and we forgot to mention this wedding came to us from Australia and Greta is a dress designer and has her own label in Australia too!

Dress Designer and Style: Me! GretaKate is my business and my team and I put together my gown, my bridesmaids, Mother and Grandmother’s outfit. Over 50 hours went into the French lace beaded gown, bolero and the detachable skirt which was made up from 500 silk petals from New York each sewn on by hand. After the church service I removed the bolero and just before our first dance I took off my petal skirt to reveal quite a slimline beaded gown. I got the best of both worlds! If only I could wear it again!

Flowers: I didn’t actually have a bouquet. My Mum made beautiful wrist corsages for me and the bridesmaids. Wild Ivy did our reception floral hanging arrangement which was made from 5 hula hoops draped in flowers and threaded flower chains.

About the Shoes!
What Style: Blondie!!!
What made you choose that particular style? They were fun, beautifully made and I loved the little details on the base of shoe and the sixpence. Such special shoes.
How would you wear your CM shoes again? I have already worn them again. I made a short dress and wore my my bolero from my wedding gown.
Advice for any bride-to-be’s? Do what makes you and your fiancé happy. Enjoy the journey of planning a wedding, as the day goes pretty quick!
Thanks so much to Greta for sharing her special day with us - and from all of us at Charlotte Mills we just want to say congratulations Greta and Dino xx
